Friday 13th

I am not generally one to be bothered by superstition and folklore, but I cannot help but have a sense of foreboding every Friday 13th.

I had a dream last night of a terrible plane crash in the city of Bristol. It was a Boeing 747 from America. Many hundreds of people died, both on the plane and on the ground. Al-Qaeda shot the plane down. I will remain ALERT tonight, just in case my services as a mortician as required in the terrible event that this should come to pass.

Lockerbie is a tad further north then Bristol Garv...

And the plane was en-route from Germany to the states using the Oceanic Northern routing corridor...all else seems to fit...oh...yeah it was years ago!

Anyone else think he sounds oh so very hopeful?

Just thinking Garv.

I believe all prophetic dreams in the Bible used symbolism, such as cows coming from the Nile or massive figures made up of various metals etc.

Your dream sounds far to specific to be anything other than the product of an active imagination.

If I were you I would just get the head down tonight and enjoy a few hours of shuteye.

Some aircraft off to the US fly over western England - mostly a bit north of Bristol, but not all go over Scotland. Garv, if you look at http://www.flightradar24.com/, you should be able to watch your hijack in real time.

Not only does he think he is not superstitious but manages to contradict himself in the same sentence!

Garvan's whole life seems to be based on superstition and folklore.

I had a dream last night that Bill acquired some intellectual integrity.

I don't believe dreams are prophetic.

An allegory dream for the fall of the Knights Templar on Friday the 13th? No embalming needed there, though - they were barbecued.

Thank you Chickenhouse, that site is also of great interest to me. I do wonder though... could this information not be used by the likes of Al Qaeda to plot a MASSIVE terrorist attack?????

"could this information not be used by the likes of Al Qaeda to plot a MASSIVE terrorist attack"

Especially now you've given them the idea, Garvan. Nice one.

Anything else you'd like to do to help the cause of international terror?
